Terms of use

These terms are a plain-language draft for a small bedtime app. They are not a substitute for legal advice. If you pay, UK consumer law still applies in the usual way.

The service

FableLoom is a web app that plays calm bedtime stories. The marketing site explains the product. The app is a separate service and requires an account.

Accounts

You must be an adult to create an account. The account is yours. A child profile is only a nickname and a reading preference. Do not enter information about a child that is not needed.

Stories

Stories are for personal, household use. Please do not republish them as your own. The flagship track is written for roughly ages two to six. You remain responsible for what you put in front of your child.

Payment

Paid access is the full story library. Prices are shown as whole pounds: £5 per month or £50 per year. If Stripe is not configured yet, paid buttons will not appear — I will not pretend to charge you.

If you subscribe, you can cancel in three taps from Account. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break the service, scrape it aggressively, or use it to harm someone. There is no social layer and no uploading of your own stories in this version.

Availability

I will try to keep the app running. I cannot promise it will never go down. The marketing site and the app are hosted separately so a problem on one should not take the other with it.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that affects paying customers, I will say so on this page. Continued paid use after that is acceptance of the new terms. If you disagree, cancel.

Contact

Use the email address you signed in with as the way to reach me about your account. For the product in general, the About page is the right place to understand who is responsible.
